How to get a Free Xbox 360

If you are like me, then you don't have $400 or $500 to spend on a XBOX 360 . And I really don't have two days to camp outside of a retail store for the chance to pay$400 or $5oo for one. But that doesn't mean that we should miss out.

Who's giving them away:

There are affiliate websites that give away high-end electronics to increase their web-traffic and commissions. They are generally referred to a "freebie" websites. They post advert links for commercial websites on their site. Every time someone clicks a link to their sponsors and makes a purchase they get a commission. In order to increase commissions and get people to patronize their sponsors they give away high-end products like the XBOX 360.

There are different types of "freebie" websites:

Referral-Based
Offer-Based
Point-Based

Referral Based:

The most common these days. This method is pretty much free but requires the most creativity - getting referrals. It's so easy that it's funny!

1 Register with the affiliate website. You usually register with the affiliate or "freebie" website through a referral link provided or posted somewhere by a current member. To register you must give your e-mail address , your name and your physical address. No P.O. boxes are acceptable as addresses. Some sites require you to be at least 13 years old others require you to be atleast 18 years old or older. Some freebie websites are only open to U.S. residents, some are international, and some only service a specific country out side of the US (ex: Canada, Germany, Australia, U.K.). Be sure to check the residency and age requirements in their "terms and conditions" before you register.

You can only have one account per person, per household (physical address), per IP address ( the address that your computer resides in on the internet.) They will not spam you or sell your marketing info and they forbid members to do the same to any of our referrals or any other member of the website. If you break any of these rules, then your account can be put on hold for fraud investigation or just terminated by the website administrators no matter what your progress is.

On most freebie websites you can only get one free item per household account. There are a few exceptions, though. So read the Terms and Conditions for the freebie site, in this case it's Freepay's Xbox 360 giveaway website. Freepay is the new "banner name" used by a company called the Gratis Network. The Gratis Network has been around for a while and is one of the most well-known and proven freebie networks on the web.

2 When you register you will see a bunch of "dinky" looking offer banners with yes and no next to or under them. Click "NO" on all of them and skip the entire page if you can ( there may be a skip button at the bottom of the page). This is just what they call a "survey". But if you sign up for any of these offers the will not count toward your free gift requirements. So, don't even waste your time unless you are really interested. But some of the offers in the survey are the same as some of offers that will count toward your Xbox 360 if you wait and sign up on the correct page. Finish the "survey" (hahaha) and you'll get to a page that says " Complete one of the offers below to be eligible to receive your Free Xbox 360" or something like that. Complete one of the sponsored offers on that page.

You will need a valid credit card, a Visa or Master Card logo debit card or a visa or master card gift card to complete the offers. They are mostly free or reduced cost trial offers. Read the terms and conditions of the offer carefully before signing up and then act accordingly. It usually takes about 15 days to get credit for completing an offer. Different freebie sites and offers vary in crediting time but 15 days is universal on all Freepay websites. Choose something free or something that you are interested in. If you choose something that you are interested in, then you get the added bonus of trying out a new product of service for a reduced trial period rate. Or you can try a sample of a product for just the cost shipping and handling. Or you can pick a "free" offer. Or you can pick an offer that IS FREE!

****You must turn off your pop-up blocker before you sign up for any offer. *******

The pop-up window that appears when you click on the offer's banner will tell you what constitutes completion for credit at the freebie website for that specific offer. Once you get to the sponsor's (the company who is issuing the offer) webpage read the terms and conditions of the offer carefully to know all of the particulars of the offer before you sign up for it. If it looks good and you can accept the terms then complete it. This is true for most freebie websites no matter what type they are.

3 Refer a number of "unique" individuals and get them complete one sponsor's offer. Get "X" amount of people to complete steps one and two (completed referrals or "greens") just like you did. Number of greens that you need depends on the freebie website and/or the item or bundle of items that you are trying to get.

"Unique" individuals - individuals who live at different physical addresses, have different e-mail addresses, different copmputer/IP addresses, have different names and credit/debit card numbers and who are not currently members of that particular freebie website.

Reward - the product that you register with the freebie website to receive.

Sponsor - the companies that advertise on the affiliate/freebie website

Affiliate Website - the website that posts advertisements on their site and receive commissions for every visitor who clicks a sponsor's link or banner to reach the sponsor's website and make a purchase.

Offer-Based:

  1. Register with the affiliate website
  2. Complete a specific number of offers in specific categories

This method costs a little bit cash. How much depends on what offers you choose. Pretty straight forward. But you have to complete the offers in a specific way; follow the instructions and you'll be okay. The easiest method of the three. But, just like referral-based sites you can only get one reward per person, per account. Read the terms and conditions, FAQ and help sections very carefully. Remember to skip the offer in the "survey" LOL.

Once you reach a page that say something like: "Congratulations, to qualify for your Free ____(Xbox 360, iPod What ever), start by fully completing "X" (stands for whatever the stated number is; not the roman numeral 10) of the top offers listed below on this page." Follow the direction on that page and on the sponsored offer's webpages to the letter to get you proper credit. Any mistakes or over site could result in you wasting your time and money. You usually have to complete "X" offers on page one, the got to the next page and complete "X" offers then got to the next page and complete "X" offers. The directions on the pages are usually pretty clear. And it is usually all spelled out in the Terms and Conditions, FAQ and/or Help sections for that freebie website.

You will need a valid credit card, a Visa or Master Card logo debit card or a visa or master card gift card to complete the offers. They are mostly free or reduced cost trial offers. Different freebie sites and offers vary in crediting time.

Once Again - you can only have one account per person, per household (physical address), per computer/IP address ( the address that your computer resides in on the internet - so you cannot have two accounts created using the same computer.) They will not spam you or sell your marketing info and they forbid members to do the same to any of our referrals or any other member of the website. If you break any of these rules, then your account can be put on hold for fraud investigation or just terminated by the website administrators no matter what your progress is.

Point-Based:

  1. Register with the affiliate website
  2. Complete offers to accumulate points
  3. Redeem points for Rewards

This method is a little more involved. Each offer is assigned a point value. Each reward offered is worth a specific amount of points. You can redeem your points for as many rewards as you have points to trade. These can cost some cash so, knock out the offers with the highest point values first. Some of these sites offer additional points for referrals. So rack up as many points as you can and clean up. The only limitation on how many rewards you can get is how many points you can amass.

Yet Again - You will need a valid credit card, a Visa or Master Card logo debit card or a visa or master card gift card to complete the offers. They are mostly free or reduced cost trial offers. Different freebie sites and offers vary in crediting time.

As Usual - you can only have one account per person, per household (physical address), per IP address ( the address that your computer resides in on the internet.) They will not spam you or sell your marketing info and they forbid members to do the same to any of our referrals or any other member of the website. If you break any of these rules, then your account can be put on hold for fraud investigation or just terminated by the website administrators no matter what your progress is.

How to Get Referrals For Your Free XBOX 360

Getting Referrals can be difficult. So you have to be creative. Here are a few ways to get your referrals and get one step closer to your XBOX 360 .

Be Greedy; But Be Smart

E-mail every single person that you know - Start with friends and family. Then move on to co-workers anybody you can think of, but use good judgment. DO NOT SPAM EVER! You can be creative when getting your people to sign up and complete offers. Beg, plead, bribe, trade ; whatever it takes. Use good judgment.

Blog - Post your referral link on your blog. Advertise on your blog. Make some money while you rack up referrals for you XBOX 360.

Website - Post your referral link on your website. There are several free webhosting services available. A quick Google search should get you a few. Why not join some affiliate programs. Get some sponsors. Make a little cash while you work on your referrals. Start a page on MySpace.com it's free.

Free Online Classifieds - Post your referral link and a clear description of what you are advertising. Careful to avoid any fraud. Google will yield some other decent sites.

(we love Google)

Conga Lines - Join a Conga Line. A conga line is a website or forum string which helps folks like us get referrals for our free stuff. The person at the top of the list has their referral link open. Every new member of the line counts as referral for them. After the first person gets all their needed referrals, their link is closed and the next person on the list moves into the first position. And so on and son. In order to join the line you have to register for that website as a new member through the first person's referral link. If you are already registed at that freebie site, then you usually can not join that line. Once you complete your offer and are credited for it, then you can be added to the conga line after contacting the line administrator. If you manage to make it to the top of the list you may get your referrals. You should try to get one of the first spots in the conga line. If you wait too long or join a line that has been around for a while; then you are less likely to make it to the top position. The best way is to work on your own XBOX 360 referrals and use the line simultaneously.

If you took my earlier advice and joined MySpace.com, then you can join my new conga lines in the forums of my new MySpace Group:

Free Stuff 4 Everybody.

Don't worry, the XBOX 360 link throughout this blog is the exact same link that I use for the Freepay Xbox 360 Conga Line on my MySpace Group page.

I have over 30 of links, so any line that you want started... I probably have the link for. And we share info in my group. Referral strategies, trading, freebie websites, offers to look for, etc., See this is what your blog is for.

Advertise - Advertise your website, conga line or blog on search engines. Do your research. Find the most visible yet affordable option. Google being the most visible. U can use Google Adwords. For about $30 bucks a month you can get you link seen by thousands of people every time someone does a google search usung certain keywords or websites that your ad is quewed to, depending on which startegy you use. You can also find many websites that are willing to post your link or bannerfor a small donation like Anything 4 Free USA. Or if you are into auto surfing for cash there are sites like 4 Daily , 5 Daily, 12 Daily Pro and 1 to 12 Net that will not only pay you for websurfing, but for a very small investment they will sell you ad space to post your link or banner. You can join these sites for free, they giveaway an initial beginners level of member's pay units - ususlly one. With this unit you can gather website cretits as well a few cents each day. These credits can be used to post your link or banner. But credits run out fast. You can buy upgrades of pay units to increase the amout of income and credits earned through surfing, on some sites you cane even buy credits. But to get paid or to buy credits or ad space you have to have a Stormpay or Egold account (similar to Paypal).

Trading - There are websites where you can trade referals. Referral Trading is the fastest way to complete your referral requirements. There are many peole on the net willing to trade referrals with you. But be careful. There are some out there who will take a referral from you and cut out on their end of the deal. It has happened to many traders, myself included.

Referral Trading websites like Referral Swapper take the guess workout of trading. Members are rated like on ebay based on their trading history. It makes it easier to watch out for the scammers. It is free to join but in order to trade you have to pay a one time upgrade fee of $9.95 to become a paid member. There are no limits on how many trades you can do. That fee is good for 4 or 400 freebie sites (if there are that many).

You can make some cash by selling referralsto traders who post offers to pay for them. It's a good way to build up your bank. Some offers cost money. And depending on the freebie website and the offers listed their trading can cost a little bit of cash sometimes. You can also accumulate points that can be redeemed for cash or items on Referral Swapper- for each new member that joins Referral Swapper through your referral link and upgrades to a paid membership. Cool Huh? .....I think so!

At Referral Swapper, freebie websites are screened. Members rate the freebie websites and the offers on the websites in both the forums and the main website's pages. Their system also makes it easy for you to keep track of your freebie websites' links, referrals needed, obtained and websites completed. It's an easy point and click solution to referral trading and website completion.

You could also try trading in forums. Most trading forums like the ones at the Anything 4 Free USA "trading post" are good. They rate all of the members based on their trading history. But be careful, there are still a lot of scammers lurking around; even there. Some of the trading possibilites are very interesting. You can trade referrals for referrals, referals for cash, referrals fo items and various combinations. A4F is also a good source for new freebie site links, and news. For small donations of $5 or $10 you can post your link on their main pages for three days. Of all of the trading forums A4F trading post is the best and it is mostly free ; but not as well monitored and user friendly as paid trading sites like Referral Swapper and Ref Stop . At Ref Stop you can join for free, but costs $6 to upgrade to an active trading membership. You are also paid $2 for each new member that joins through your referral link and upgrades to a paid membership. Also very cool.

How to Get Referrals For Your Free XBOX 360 contn'd

Flyers- You can use you computer to make flyers. Print out a page with your referral link in two colums. Decrease the size of the margins to give you more space in the center of the page. Cut the page of links down the center and attach the two half pages to the bottom of the flyer.

Place one half page on top of the other. Make sure that the text on both half pages are lined up as close to perfect as possible, one on top of the other. The text, your referral link pages should be vertically attached to the flyer bottom leaving at least 1.5 inches between the staples, glue whatever and the begining of the printed text on the link pages. Now take your scissors and cut a line in between each vertical line of text (your ref link) stopping just beyond the end of the link text. You want the tabs to stay attached, but you don't want your potential referrals to tear off an incomplete link.

Place these flyers on public bulletin boards in your neighborhood. At your school, Where, ever as long as it is legal. You can ask local business owners if you can post there too.

The better and more professional your flyer looks the better responses you will get. So break out the Photoshop people.

USE GOOD JUDGMENT!!!!!!

Good Luck!

In getting referrals Conga Lines replaced begging and trading is catching up to conga lines. I reccommend a combination of all methods personnally. You can't go wrong with begging, flyers, internet advertising, conga lines, trading and paying. You cover all basis. Of course, Congas and Begging are the the 100% Free choices. Flyers require a very small investment. The other alternatives - trading and paying are the fastest individually. A super-combo is the fastest over all.

I like the Super-Combo myself, but I still want more folks to trade with:
